Our site has stagnated as far as membership growth goes. We haven't had new members join in a while. Maybe because it's summertime?

I'd also like to see more members post on the forums too.

In order to keep our site running, we need to get more and more members! While most of our members are in Texas, our site is for anyone across the country. Does anyone have any ideas on ways to get new people involved - that doesn't involve awarding points...something more interactive or new...?

Thanks for your ideas in advance - :D

Here's a quick question for you...

In your office, who gets the mail and sorts through it first?

I am trying to determine if a direct mail campaign (probably postcards) would help in getting new members if I sent them to agencies not represented by our members.

thanks -

same here, the receptionist gets the mail and distributes it.  the agent gets it when she's not here.

what about sending emails to people inviting them to join using the Outlook directory.  It list who is and who isn't a staff member....

i will ponder on this one to see what i come up with..... i don't want to loose the site...:?

I've tried using the template and noticed only a few of my friends have joined.  In fact, I have had to call and go through it with them.  I think personalized postcards should work.  I enjoy the site and don't want to see it end.

At this time, I don't think the site is going anywhere. In fact, we're starting to get new members in the past two weeks (yippee!). I just want to make sure that the site continues to grow and grow well, with members being involved and getting something out of the site that will really help with their everyday work.

I don't want to mislead anyone that the site may shut down. It is changing, though...I think it's changing in a good direction too. I love the forums and I think it's like glue keeping everyone in touch and in tune.

Thanks for everyone's support! :D

I love the Ultimate Staff site I do get a lot out of it and enjoy all auctions and contests.

The forums are GREAT!!  Someplace where you can speak your mind and add questions or comments and just have a good time.  Right now I like the "Do you Remeber???" Forum brings back nice memories and look forward to see what all peps remeber!!   :dude:
