As you've probably already read in the auto insurance forum, a good way to get new client is the be available for them and let them know you go the extra mile for them, stay alittle later for them, fax an insurance card when they lose one, get everything ready for them when they call and are in a hurry! Just little things help when sometimes your rate isnt as good as a competitor but the customer remains a customer because they value the customer service they get! Attain and maintain good relationships with auto dealers, manufacturing home places, banks and other businesses that affect your business. Those referrals alone keep you busy! Watch where you advertise, getting your name on sports calanders for local schools, restaurant menus are much better than some of charitable causes that arent locally based. I dont mean not to support cancer research but make more local contributions to get noticed. Parents see your name for good young drivers rate everytime they look a football schedule or baseball schedule and guess who comes to mind when drivers ed comes around and their kids need insurance and its too expensive to put on their policy! Little things add up big time! :P
