This is an actual claim that was reported today from one of our insureds.
The facts of loss reported to us are as follows:
Insured reports her daughter was driving and a deer was running along next
to her car, daughter slowed down almost came to a complete stop waiting to
see what the deer would do next. Daughter did not run into the deer, but the
deer ran into daughters car.
It wasn't that funny when it happened to me. However I didn't slow down for the deer. I never saw it coming, but it did hit me right in the drivers side door. It caved it in and I had to climb out the passenger side. Funny thing is that it killed the female deer and my husband and I wound up raising her baby which caused us to have to buy goats and milk them to feed the baby deer. Didn't have much of a garden for a few years either because Tuco (our deer) ate everything in it. Oh, how I hated milking those goats...... I will have to bring some pictures from home and post.
