my agency is an independant  agent and so I can competively compete with other independant agents for clients with no prior insurance, tickets, claims, no homeowners and young drivers! I maintain a good relationship with the car dealerships in granbury. I let them put cards and advertisments up in my office and I know the dealers and financial officers at most of the dealerships so at any time, they can call me up to verify insurance or add to policy or quote new policy. They call me or my agency like its  a personal favor to stay after 6pm for a customer that wants to get their car that day but needs insurance and most of time we wait and start the procedure so its a quick in and out for customer and sealed deal for dealership. I am also open on saturdays in which most agencies arent so I get lots of calls for coverage on saturdays! I have customers tell me that so and so from this or that dealership told them I would get best price for them and recommended my office! These relationships are beneficial finacially and professionally and I have made a few good friends that I probably wouldnt have made otherwise!
