Anyone have good ideas for the Life Promotion coming up? (state Farm)
I am needing to brain storm on ideas to decorate the office to get people to ask about life insurance.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

Term conversions..first years premium credit and it's app count.
Oh and ya know you can do 10 year Selects w/no physicals now.
Same price basically as the 20's but some people just REFUSE to do physical so it's a selling point then when you have them in front of you say, well you can go 20 year select and if you do physical you might get a preferred rating..
Although gotta be careful who we say that too haahahahahaa
but ... I'm not having any luck w/anything right now.*sigh*

we decorated the office with a football theme (since it is football season). and on the wall we put up lettering that ask "whats your gameplan?"
people have been asking and it allows us the chance to talk about life without having to bring up the conversation right out of the blue

| State Farm started the Steer Clear program a few months back. Our office makes appointments with the kids that are eligable for that discount. We have been very successful at saling life policy on the kids after going over the steer clear video.

one good idea we're doing is when they walk in, click in, or call in, they get a "quote"...meaning we have the rates printed out and if they walk in, they get a sheet with their rate highlighted and tell them it's "life awareness" month and we need to know that we have given them the option to purchase coverage outside their group that THEY control. If they click or call in we mail a postcard with the amount really big on it (like we write a big $14.50 in red) and in small letter tell them it's a rate for life to call for deatils. We have 50....YES I SAID 50 apps for September!!! We also found single line autos with youthful drivers....the discount usually will pay for the policy! Be creative....it works wonders. we're trying to get our 75 app goal....most of what we're writing is good business too..nothing that will fall off the books and hurt the agent and maybe help him for premium next year. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!! It's hard, but we can do it!
