Spiced Tea Mix
Great holiday gift idea! My mom and I made a batch of this stuff and put it in a Holiday gift basket for all my aunts and uncles for Christmas. We taste tested it and it is YUMMY!
Spiced Tea Mix Recipe
Ingredients:
1½ cups of orange breakfast drink (like Tang)
¾ cup iced tea mix
1½ cups white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground ginger
~ Makes about 4 cups ~
Jar Decoration:
1 quart (or 4 cup) glass jar
eyelet lace trim or something similar
¼ picot ribbon or raffia
2 or 3 short cinnamon sticks
white glue or tacky glue
Printable Spiced Tea Mix label
Scissors
Paper punch
Spiced Tea Mix - Gift in a Jar
Instructions:
1. Stir all ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Pour into the quart jar (a funnel is useful for this but not absolutely necessary) and cap with a screw top lid, firmly screwed down.
2. Print the Spiced Tea Mix label shown at right and cut it out (with fancy edged craft scissors, if you have them). Use a paper punch to put a hole in the top right hand corner.
3. Cut the lace trim to fit around the jar lid, adding an extra inch. Glue lace in place around the rim of the lid, overlapping the extra inch of lace at the back. Alternatively, you could cover the lid with a circle of lace or pretty fabric tied in place with the ribbon.
4. Tie ribbon around the lace on the jar lid, then tie the ribbon around the cinnamon sticks so that they appear at the front of the jar. Thread ribbon through the punched hole on the label and tie in place with a bow.

Peppermint Schnopps Hot Choc
1 package hot choc mix
1 shot pepperment schnopps
1 hershey kiss
1 pot of almost boiling water
Set pot on stove to boil water. Pour hot chocolate mix to a coffee cup. Just before water begins to boil (this prevents scolding your tongue) pour it into the coffee cup. Add the shot of Peppermint Schnopps and drop in the hershey kiss. Stir until all is well blended. This is so very yummy!!!

Breakfast smoothie
1 cup of RasberryCran juice
1 handfull of mixed frozen berries - freezer section of the grocery store
3-4 whole frozen strawberries
1 yoplait strawberry or mixed berry 98% fat free yogart
1/2 cup raw plain oatmeal
1/4 cup vanilla flavored vitamen powder (optional)
Get out your blender. Pour liquid in first then the stawberries, the mixed berries, then the yogart, the oatmeal and powder. Blend all very well. (make sure you blend all very well - the rasberries will leave seeds in your drink if not blended up well). This makes a large smoother so get out a tall glass and ENJOY! This is one yummy to the tummy smoothie!
